How's the weather? Tanzania’s weather varies from region to region. It lies just south of the Equator, with generally rainy seasons between March & May and a long arid season between June & October. Temperatures tend to be mild throughout the year, cooler in the mornings and evenings with peaks of hot weather during the day between that summer season and weather in Zanzibar is generally sunny and enjoyable year-round. Safari drives warrant layers for sure, to accommodate for the cooler temperatures morning and evening, along with the warm ups during midday times.
